Parent Resources Hub
Welcome to your central home for everything Midwest Legends. We’ve created this hub to simplify your cheer journey, gathering all the schedules, guides, and gym updates in one place so you can focus on what matters most: cheering for your athlete. We’re honored to have your family as part of our legacy!
Essential Schedules
We know cheer families thrive on clear communication. Here’s how we structure our season to keep your athlete growing and your calendar manageable.
Weekly Training
Our Prep and Novice teams practice once weekly, and our elite teams twice per week, ensuring a balanced schedule for students. Sessions focus on foundational stunting and routine building.
Elite Commitment
For our Elite teams, we introduce a third practice day for specialized tumbling and/or stunting. This structured approach helps athletes reach high-stakes goals safely.
Skills & Clinics
Keep growing outside team hours! Weekend clinics, private lessons and skill-specific classes provide the extra edge needed for long-term athlete retention and confidence.
Got Questions?
We have answers. We're here to help you navigate the world of cheer with confidence and clarity. If you can't find what you need, our family is always just a message away.
What is the time commitment for All Star cheer?
We offer teams at various levels (Novice, Prep, and Elite) to fit different schedules. Typically, teams practice 1-3 times per week, with occasional weekend competitions during the season. We strive to provide a balance that keeps cheer fun and manageable for families.
How are teams decided?
Athletes are placed on teams based on age and skill level during our friendly placement process. Our primary goal is athlete safety and progression, ensuring every child is on a team where they can feel successful and motivated to grow.
Do I need prior cheer or tumbling experience?
Not at all! We have programs designed for everyone, from absolute beginners to advanced athletes. Our coaches love teaching the fundamentals of cheer to new families and seeing that first spark of confidence on the mat.
What are the costs involved in joining?
We believe in full transparency. Our monthly tuition covers top-tier training and competition fees. We provide a clear, comprehensive breakdown of any additional costs (like uniforms, practice wear and choreography) at the very start of the season. No hidden surprises!
Legendary Standards
Safety and integrity are our top priorities at Midwest Legends. We believe that clear expectations lead to the best athlete experience, which is why we maintain a positive, structured gym culture. Our guidelines ensure that every practice is productive and that every athlete feels both protected and pushed to reach their full potential.
Culture of Trust
We cultivate a family-like bond where athletes, parents, and coaches work together with mutual respect.
Clear Communication
We keep parents informed via regular updates, ensuring no question goes unanswered during the season.
Safety First
Our coaches are fully trained in progressive skill advancement and safety protocols for all levels.
Athlete Conduct
We encourage personal accountability and sportsmanship, teaching life skills that extend beyond the mat.
